Finding Your Inner Boss
Event Summary:
In Finding your inner boss we will cover:
How a best-case-scenario boss helps their employees (what are the best practices for effective managers and why a boss is useful and powerful - this section will also be a good reminder for the bosses in the room)
Why it’s important to be able to self-manage and find your inner boss (as appropriate) and how developing your own independence and autonomy can help you - your performance and your satisfaction at work
How we can self-manage in each of the areas where a boss is most important (concrete steps and habits to practice). This will include planning, resource assessment and allocation, setting priorities, managing multiple demands and projects, making decisions, and communicating with colleagues.
How to communicate to your actual boss about your decisions, plans, and questions (so you don't leave your actual boss in the dark)
