This position will manage benefit administration for Dari-Mart Stores and related entities. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a long-standing, community focused company. This position will work in the corporate office in Junction City and report to the President and VP Finance. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, have strong time management skills, great communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
MANAGEMENT ANALYST - WORKERS' COMPENSATION
The Workers' Compensation Administrator at Lane County administers all on the job injury claims for personnel. We are seeking a Workers' Compensation Management Analyst with experience adjudicating occupational injury claims. Management Analysts in this program are responsible for analysis and adjudication of large, complex disability in the line of duty claims. Incumbents perform analysis and investigation to determine whether injuries and illnesses are occupationally related, to establish the level of compensable benefits in accordance with the State Workers' Compensation Division laws and rules, and County Administrative Procedures Manual, and to perform other case management functions to promote recovery from injury and illness and to facilitate return -to- work as soon as medically appropriate. Incumbents are expected to perform their responsibilities with a significant degree of independence and application of sound professional judgment in reaching determinations that are fair and compassionate to employees while protecting the County from unnecessary costs. Experience working with public entities or work in a self-insured environment is a plus, as is a Workers' Compensation Certification or equivalent.
