The City of Eugene’s Employee Resource Center (ERC) is seeking a knowledgeable and service-driven Benefits and Leaves Analyst to support complex leave administration and provide analytical expertise across the organization. As a Benefits and Leaves Analyst, you will contribute to the City’s Benefit and Wellbeing program through day-to-day leave administration, collaboration with third-party administrators, policy and process analysis, and preparation of cost and risk materials for collective bargaining. You will also support contract and policy administration, complete regulatory filings, and help resolve benefits and leaves related issues. The ideal candidate brings experience in employee benefits or leaves administration, excels at providing empathetic, high-quality customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced, regulatory environment.

Human Resource Benefits Specialist

Under the direction of the Human Resources Director this position manages all functions associated with the administration of the Agency's employee benefit program. This position coordinates and manages all aspects of employee benefits, to include, but not limited to: health insurance, dental, vision, Paid Family Leave, workers compensation claims, and employee assistance program (EAP). Ensures compliance with and reporting requirements as mandated by state and federal laws. Fully engaged with the operation of the Abila Human Resources Software Module, benefits section. Maintain positive relationships with all internal and external customers.

Senior Director of Human Resources

The Sr. Director of Human Resources provides strategic and operational leadership for a broad portfolio of human resources functions within the college’s Human Resources department. Under the direction of the Vice President of Human Resources, this position directly supervises staff engaged in recruitment and employee engagement activities; and supports the college’s performance management and labor relations functions.

The Sr. Director operates in a complex, multi-union environment and plays a central role in ensuring the college’s HR practices are legally compliant, equitably administered, and aligned with institutional values. This position requires demonstrated skill in employee relations, investigations, and the administration of collective bargaining agreements, as well as the ability to build effective working relationships across diverse employee groups and organizational levels.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY - Elected Officials Compensation Board

Lane County is looking for interested individuals to serve on our Elected Officials Compensation Board (EOCB). This is a volunteer opportunity to use your HR skills to advise and make recommendations on the salaries/compensation for the County’s elected roles. In this role, you will be able to work in collaboration with other HR professionals from the Lane county area and will have the opportunity to learn about County operations and the roles of our County elected positions.
