Our Topic
This session will cover fundamental training and support for all new leaders, as well as those who have been in leadership roles for some time but who may not have received adequate formal training on the challenges and responsibilities leadership brings. Jaclyn will cover key areas of legal risk and the role leaders at all levels play in identifying and addressing potential problems. This session will also cover key operational areas of support, as well as the unique challenges faced when a new leader navigates the transition from peer to supervisor.

Participants will come away with a checklist of training topics to adapt and implement within their organizations.

Jaclyn is an experienced employment and business attorney. In addition to her experience as outside counsel, she has held internal executive roles in the nonprofit sector and in the food and beverage manufacturing and hospitality industry, and she can relate to the many demands her clients face. Jaclyn enjoys helping clients navigate complex personnel issues, prepare and implement effective policies, and maintain regulatory compliance. Her vast practical experience allows her to offer support beyond legal advice to help organizations truly thrive.
