Breakfast will be provided; seating is limited. You may park in the lot or on the street.

  1. From the corner of 6th and Blair Blvd, head north on Blair Blvd.

  2. Turn left onto W 1st Ave.

  3. Turn left into the Eugene Mission parking lot toward the end of W 1st Ave.

  4. The meeting will be in the building on the right as you turn in.

Summary:

Join LCHRA to hear from Jaclyn Rudebeck of Watkinson Laird Rubenstein, P.C. , who will discuss an overview of legal issues related to drug use in the workplace, including unemployment, workers' compensation, and disability laws. We will hear practical considerations to help employers navigate situations where drug use is suspected. Learn recommendations on what to do - and what not to do - and how to train managers to respond appropriately when concerns related to drug use arise.

And, as always there will also be plenty of opportunity for Q&A and discussion.
